Absence Preparation Checklist

"Susie Q has been taking care of my 'kids' for years now.  I can go away and have a restful vacation knowing that all my pets will be cared for properly.  I know that she will look them over carefully, just as I do every day, and if there is a problem, she will take care of it and make sure that I am aware of it, even if it is something small.  I can count on her for useful advice and valuable opinions.  When you are a "hands-on" horse owner like I am, it is hard to leave, even for a few days.  I have enough confidence in Susie to leave for a whole week!  Dogs, cats and horses are all content when I return.  They can survive without me?  Hmm, maybe I should go away more often!"

Educated Personnel = Peace of Mind

This is where it all started. Susie couldn't find anyone she trusted to feed her 2 horses and an aged pony for a weekend getaway back in 1995 so she hung up a shingle with her phone number on it and people started to call.  Horses, although very bold & brave, are very delicate creatures with two major problem areas: their intestinal tract and their circulatory system. If someone is not aware of the telltale signs of these problem areas the horse's condition could continue to go unattended and the owner would most likely have a huge vet bill or a deceased horse. "Neighborhood kids are great to mow your lawn and pull weeds, however, don't skimp here, hire a professional who is reliable, educated and capable of identifying those conditions." All services are available on a short term daily, weekend, weekly, monthly, and as-needed basis. Just pick up the phone and call Susie Q.
